월드미션대학교 도서관은 로스엔젤레스 중심부, 버몬트 애비뉴와 5가가 만나는 교차로 가까이에 위치하고 있습니다. 본 도서관은 한국 밖에서 한국어 신학 장서를 가장 많이 보유한 도서관 중 하나이며, 한국어로 서비스하고 있습니다. 커리큘럼을 지원하는것은 물론, 한국교회와 한국이민교회 및 교단에 관한 역사적 자료도 잘 갖춰져 있습니다.
본 도서관은 남가주신학대학도서관협회 (SCATLA;The Southern California Theological Library Association)의 정회원도서관이며, 미국신학도서관협회 (ATLA: American Theological Library Association)의 상호대차 프로그램에 가입되어 있습니다. OLCL의 WorldShare 상호대차 프로그램에도 가입하여 상호대차서비스를 실시합니다. 미국 캘리포니아에 있는 베데스다대학 도서관과 미주장로회신학대학 도서관, 그리고 한국 대전의 한남대학교와 협약을 맺어 월드미션대학교 학생은 세 도서관을 무료로 이용할 수 있습니다. 그리고, 한국 국립중앙도서관의 협약도서관으로서, 국립중앙도서관에서 구축한 원문 데이터베이스를 도서관 내에서 이용하실 수 있습니다.
Welcome to the World Mission University Library
World Mission University (WMU) is located in the heart of Los Angeles in Koreatown at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Shatto Place. The WMU library houses one of the largest Korean-language theological collections outside of Korea. Historical materials on Korean and Korean immigrant churches and denominations are also the strength of our collection.
The WMU library is one of the overseas partner libraries of the National Library of Korea (NLK). NLK digitized materials are accessible through designated PCs within the WMU library. The library is also a member of the American Theological Library Association (ATLA) and the Southern California Theological Library Association (SCATLA). The library participates in the ATLA Reciprocal Borrowing Program. This participation gives WMU graduate students and faculty access to more than a million theological books in other theological libraries scattered throughout Southern California and the United States. Besides, the WMU library made reciprocal agreements with Bethesda University (Anaheim, CA), California Prestige University (Santa Fe Springs, CA), and Hannam University (Daejeon, South Korea).
